Our exceptional indoor and outdoor spaces are fully licensed for civil ceremonies making Wotton the perfect backdrop for your day, where life long memories are made. Sprinkle your special day with some extra touches, like our Gin Station setup. It is ideal during turnaround times, looks fantastic in pictures, and will be a great talking point for your guests.

With its spectacular vaulted ceilings, 17th Century Pillars and original marble fireplaces, The Old Library is a whimsical, show-stopping setting for your ceremony. Natural daylight shines in through the stone Gothic windows and history comes to life with ancient Latin phrases written on the walls.
The Italian Gardens
Imagine saying your vows amongst the botanicals that make Wotton House so extraordinary. Our stunning, Grade II listed, Italian Gardens are a unique setting to say, ‘I do’. With both the Italian Gardens and Old Library being licensed for wedding ceremonies with up to 140 guests, you have two beautiful spaces to choose from.
The Evelyn Suite
When you first walk into our Evelyn Suite, you’ll notice the natural light flooding into the space. With four double doors leading out onto our Grade II listed Italian Gardens, botanical inspired artwork and wood panelling the room provides you with a modern and elegant backdrop for your wedding breakfast.
The neutral palette within the room lends itself effortlessly to your chosen colour scheme. Whether you are imagining a room full of fairy lights or an abundance of flowers on every table and the space provides you with endless possibilities.

What is your job role at WH?
Jodie is one of our wonderful wedding co-ordinators here at Wotton House. Jodie is a true ray of light, with so much energy and knowledge to help plan the biggest day of your life. Jodie has been with us for 12 months now and says weddings are her passion – Building wedding couples dreams! We quizzed Jodie on all thing’s weddings – check out her answers below!
What do you love most about a wedding?
“Everything! From meeting the couple to seeing them right through to their special day. I love it all!”.
What is your favourite thing about a Wotton wedding?
“The secret garden and the staff. Our staff are so friendly, hardworking and positive, it makes Wotton a beautiful place to work! The secret garden has so much beauty and lends itself to privacy with the boundary brick wall festooned in twinkling lighting.”
What is your favourite part of a wedding day?
“Getting my brides to the aisle! I love being part of the moment the dress gets froofed (I’ve probably made that word up!) at the top of the aisle. It feels like I’m part of the couples new beginning partnership journey. Gets me every time!”.
What is your favourite get up and dance song?
“Bruno Mars – Uptown Funk!”.
What is your number one top tip for any couple?
“The little things create big moments and memories. They usually have the most emotion behind them!”.

“The final moment before walking down the aisle and their partners seeing them for the first time!”.

“Make sure once you have found your dream venue, to book your photographer next, as they will be your keepsake for your big day”.

Thank you for all your help and support throughout our wedding day. From the bridal breakfast to the evening buffet, it was all arranged perfectly. We had the most magical day at Wotton House. We were overwhelmed with all your hard work, you ran the day perfectly and it was absolutely seamless in every way. Our family and guests had a wonderful time and they all loved Wotton.
