Start your morning with a stop in Dorking, browse the antique shops of West Street before sipping coffee in one of the quaint cafes. Driving through beautiful Surrey countryside and villages head to Shere Village, which has featured in several Hollywood movies (including ‘The Holiday’ and ‘Bridgette Jones’ Diary’, after exploring the village enjoy a pub lunch, afternoon tea or an ice cream at Shere Delights!
After checking-in, pop on a pair of hunter wellies and head out on a walk around the gardens and through the estate on one of the local walking routes. Or, relax on our 1877 Bar terrace with cocktails and views over the gardens, followed by a delicious dinner in our 1877 Restaurant.
After a peaceful night’s sleep and a breakfast feast, head to Newlands Corner for a morning walk and stunning views of the Surrey Hills. At the bottom of the hill learn about gin making and sample some of their award-winning gin with a distillery tour at Silent Pool Gin Distillery.
Pick up a picnic in Dorking before heading to Polesden Lacey or, visit RHS Wisley and explore their world-class gardens. Freshen up, then, as the sun sets, stroll up our drive to the Wotton Hatch Pub for dinner.
